We have been asked numerous times about the law surrounding the downloading of music in Ireland following from the recent High Court decision in EMI v. UPC. This document goes into some detail on the findings of Charelton J in EMI Records (Ireland) Ltd. & Ors, v. UPC Communications Ireland Ltd., and also considered the various precursors to this case, notably those involving Eircom.
